It will keep his feather in good condition and keep them mud free in winter, helps them scrub up nicely for shows but doesn't look great day to day. Wouldn't use it on bodies really as its greasy.

Agree with HF, more forage the better. Mine gets as much hay as he needs and alfalfa based chaf in winter. If its really cold he gets some sugarbeet but I couldnt get the unmollased stuff last winter ...
