hi all i just thought i would mention the little accident i had on saturday, i was long reining womble in the field, as we was going down hill, he got abit joggy and was getting fast and pulling me, i let go off one off the lines so he could come round me, till he slowed down, when he stopped i grabbed the lunge lines, but he started of again, and my finger got caught in the line he cantered off down the hill i managed to get him onto the paddock and he calmed down. my finger is still swollen |
Ouch, hope you're ok I broke two fingers of my right hand in September bringing a friend's TB in and I'll be wearing a splint on one finger day and night for another month or so, although most of the movement is back now...so do get yours checked out properly. I wasn't going to, and am glad I did as they needed to be manipulated back into position before they could heal properly, as they were so badly aligned after breaking
Norty Scoutie!
My random mundane fact...Jack had physio today, and his head was the same size as the physio's torso (she is very petite!) I think he enjoyed it He loves any sort of fuss! |

simple...
Tomas bucked me off(little git)
I gripped the reins for grim death
Tomas took off.. I couldn't keep hold and my finger "pionged" backwards and tore ALL the ligaments, it needed surgery poor little thing
I couldn't believe 18 stitches either, its only a finger for Gawd's sake they had to cut down both sides and repair the tendons
sounds horrific doesn't it |

Angela Spring does go to their heads. I dread exercising my mare this time of year. They recognise the lengthening days and it just makes them totally screwy. |

glad i dont have any mares now lizzy, too many hormones i rode wob again today, and he sounded more like a pig than the ones in the pen even when i turn him out in the little paddock, most of the time he's waiting to come in . i cant wait for this winter to pass, its been a long one. |

Geldings can get quite silly too Angela, as Wob is showing you. The thing is my favourite mare (in the Avatar) is a very big girl and I am no midget but she can take some handling when she wants to go. I would certainly not ride her this time of year. |

lizzy your mare looks like butter wouldnt melt i turned wob out in one of the small fields with his mate today, they looked like a pair of loons i think wobs favorite move is the leap off all fours and then cow kick one :lol:sometimes they are funny to watch how many horses do you have now |

She is adorable Angela but such a character and most definitely my favourite. We have a very similar personality and can read each other so well. |

I thought that you had got an exciting life and were having a good time Valerie. London is only about 45 minutes away from here but it scares the life out of me. Look forward to the photos. |

Fergs sire is the late Mollinhillhead Sensation if I remember rightly!

Paulie - Fergus' Sire was Mollinhillhead Sensation, as Ratface says. Fergus is now owned by me - see my Ossie, George Ruby & Rosie thread. |
