Hi Everyone, it's been a while since I've been on here due to family illness etc but I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this condition with their Heavies. My mare had an accident at the beginning of this year and it turns out that she is suffering from AF ( not related to the incident apparently ). She's had an ECG and at rest her heart rate is 62BPM where as it should be around 34 and a troponin blood test done, this hasn't shown an enlarged heart which is a little baffling for the vets as they were adamant it would show it as being. She's due to go for an ultrasound in the next couple of weeks to confirm whether she can still work but I thought I'd ask around in the meantime.

We all think she's developed this condition and learned to live with it but obviously from a safety aspect the vets need to investigate.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts and comments.
