There was a group back in the late 60's early 70's called "Crazy World of Arthur Brown" and they sang a song called "Fire" - he used to sing the song wearing a top hat and have fire coming out of the top!! OK I am going back in the cupboard now!!! Laughing

Hey Ruby..! Stop showing your age and get 'em in...! its your turn I think... Laughing but psssst..! just get Emma the coke....without the rum ok ? She's had enough already I think... Laughing
Now then where were we.....'Fire'....hmm....You know, Norway is behind the times and we have a t.v program called 'Heartbeat'.....I dont know wether its still going in the U.K...but if it is, we are probably still 2 years behind anyway. But thats a cracking program for 60's music and vehicles ect...I must admit, I watch it to fulfill my yearning for good old blighty and the culture whilst im over here.... Laughing
Bottoms up Ruby..! Laughing

Embarassed scurries off to the mens room to change quickly.... Laughing
But seriously...(if thats possible for a second)...I dont drink either, alchohol is extortionate here...equivalent of six pounds for 1 pint. But you'd be amazed how many alkies there are around. Its not beer here either..! its just wishy washy lager..But as I said I dont drink much but I can but Guiness and a couple of other Irish beers in cans at the supermarket. Costs approx 4 pounds a can, so when I do endulge, its only one ! They have Guiness on tap down in Oslo but thats over 6 pounds a pint. Needless to say there is alot of smuggling of wines and spirits over the border from Sweden especially....and also spirits from Russia and other easter block countries.... Confused
Wanna crisp Emmzz..?

Sorry, I have to nipp out a while. I have 2 funerals to play for. Catch you all later...!

Ah if you have fish you have to sit at one of the tables which has joss sticks or a scented candle there. You can get a lighter to light it from behind the bar....

Hello peeps!

Just got myself a bag of lemon scampi fries and want to mull over something with ya!

I want to put some laminate flooring down in my hallway and the dining room.

I have seen some stuff for 9.95 a pack in Wickes. Do you know if you can get it any cheaper? Also do you have any tips or hints?

Our hall is laid to it Emma because it was the most practical flooring for our lifestyle. Other than that we have carpet or other flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms.

I don't know what the prices are nowadays but one tip Mr Lizzy will give is, to make sure it looks good, always take the skirting board off, lay the flooring and then refit the skirting board. You can do it without taking it off and then put beading round but it doesn't look as professional.
