Hiya. We have a 4 year old shire mare who foaled in April this year. We are now looking to break her in to ride/drive. Any recommendations of who to use would be appreciated. Thanks

Brian Davis from Oswestry will train your mare to the shafts and trace chains. He is an old fashioned horseman and not a natural horseman but all the horses we have sent to him come back with the same sweet nature as they had when we left them with him. That tells me that he is kind to them and I would have it no other way. He takes around 6 weeks to get them to a point when they will competently work with a cart and chain harrows etc.

It is earned Tracy, the only problem being he is getting on now and was really ill a couple of years ago, so I am not sure how much longer he will be able to continue.
