Hi Everyone,
I've only had my shire for about 7 -8 months and he's fab! laid back and nothing fazes him-to start with - now when I take him out for a little hack(only taken him out a few times) he's getting more agitated about noisy trailers and cars going past him, and he just keeps stopping to go back home to our other shire. I'm feeling like I've failed in taking him out because I cant get him very far up the lane, bless him.(I've been riding for 39 years and nothing has ever fazed me, but I think I overthink things now I'm older, like him rearing or something)
I'm used to TB'S and my tb always had separation anxiety, but I didn't realise shires did to be honest, just thought they were more keen to go out on their own.
Could this be the case with him any has anyone got a similar problem.
Thanks for your time, look forward to any help Smile xx
